ILLUSION OR REALITY?
Neptune Now in Aries, It's A Trip!
HELLO MY DEAR SOUL FRIEND,
It’s mid-July, many astrologers are speaking of an overnight transformation of humanity.
I’m not sure how that would be overnight, but I will say it’s clear the Earth is moving and we are temporary residents.
Here we are in this fractal piece of the universe, this reflection of the divine, this part of the whole that we can never be separate from. Even you, me, and Osama bin Laden are a part of the same whole, beautiful field of Creation, both as eternal soul beings and human residents of Earth.
In this reality it’s clear why we are pre-programmed to forget what was before. Life is confusing enough. IMAGINE THE BAGGAGE THAT WOULD BRING! (Head is spinning at that thought).
This world is said to be a fractal piece of the of the whole Universe, according to NASA who says they have proof but never followed up that article with the juicy facts.
However, this makes sense that we are a tiny part because we are told in the great spiritual writings of all ages, ‘As above so below’. We can not even comprehend the vastness of our own little Universe. In this vastness we are but a microscopic speck.
Yet, there seems great purpose to our evolution here. We come into this form of matter to believe this is THE reality. To identify with the body we reside in and forget who we are inside this temple, and to identify with the things outside of us, which we have little or no control over. This lack of control is where fear resides. Or maybe for some it is where opportunity resides. Neither of these options is the place of ‘knowing’. That we must seek to find within ourselves.
Most often we fear the concepts of illusion that arise in the human brain. The brain tells the body, the nervous system, then the imagined situation is accepted as real in the body by prompting fear reactions. How powerful is that?!!! Potent, truly potent. And so automatic it’s frightening because then we don’t question these reactions!
Imagination is the gift and the shadow. The potential is real.
When we have a dream we may vaguely know it’s a dream while we’re having it, or we may emotionally be experiencing the dream while it’s happening.
When we awaken of course we realize it was a dream, and we reflect on it.
In my situation I also have instances where my Dream Guides speak to me directly. Then I’m completely aware because I’m between that liminal dream state and on the edge of awakening.
Well, last week something really bizarre and freaky happened to me in my sleep cycle.
A dear Astrologer friend informed me that Neptune is in a very prominent location in my chart right now. I am not normally ruled by Neptune. I advise people who are, because Neptune is the planet of illusion, but it’s also the planet of awakening, and there is tremendous challenge in this but also incredible opportunity.
We discussed the struggle of telling the difference between illusion and higher spiritual access when the boundaries are fog. How can you choose when it’s not clear.?
So just two nights after our discussion I experienced Neptune first hand and it shook me!
I was awakened from sleep by my grandson who came home late, and then I went back to sleep. Some hours later I thought I heard him making noise and decided I would get up and check on him. I got up and headed to the hallway as I always do but this is where the illusion got crazy. The clarity of the dream was so real I was convinced I was awake and experiencing it.
The minute I stepped from the bedroom to the hallway it began. The floor was different in the hallway, there were 3 orange kittens there looking up at me. I immediately felt as if I was having something like a psychedelic experience (though I’ve never had one to compare it to, surely this was similar). I turned the corner into the living room hoping things would look normal, but no! The particle flooring continued, my furniture was gone and replaced with things I didn’t recognize and there were strange people sitting there who were attempting to interact with me. I kept saying, Where is my furniture? What is going on? Who are you? This can’t be happening?! This is so weird, what’s going on? I want my furniture back. I kept trying to make sense of it.
It was so vivid and disorienting that I kept asking myself if I was asleep, checking my reality awareness, and answering myself that I was indeed awake, it was super real! When I began to panic a woman seated in the middle of the room held up a card and said, but Linda you chose this card!
I thought, I don’t know her and I didn’t pick any cards! This is so bazaar, almost like a Carney happening in my living room and I couldn’t turn it off, change anything or figure it out. I was beginning to feel nausea.
When the intensity of the experience was at its peak I took a breath, and then gave up trying to figure it out. I said to myself, “Well if I can’t resolve this maybe it will change if I go back to bed.” And so I did just that, turned back to the hallway, crawled into bed, fell asleep and the dream stopped. I slept like a baby until I woke up hours later and immediately realized the frightening clarity of that experience, of that very real dream.
I immediately got up, went outside barefooted and grounded myself on the mossy earth.
I stood there saying my morning prayers, and asked for some explanation of whatever that was.
Moments later it hit me that I had experienced the deep illusion of Neptune in Aries! It was an experience I never saw coming, and being a person who has had numerous liminal dream state experiences since childhood, many of them stunning, I will say I have no recollection of ever confusing fully awake-ness with deep dreaming. THIS was like NOTHING I’ve ever experienced before. Honestly, I’d prefer that be the last time too.
When I shared this with my Astrologer friend, Claudia, she advised me the only way to deal with Neptune is to simply allow it. Because it will never give you an answer. It wishes to remain vague.
Reflecting on the woman in the dream who (twice) pulled a card, held it up and said, “But Linda you chose this card!” The pieces suddenly fit the message.
I did pull this card! I did choose this reality! It is an illusion that goes away when we awaken and find ourselves back in our eternal form. In this illusion, people come and people go, things often change in ways we have no power over. I was shown exactly how this ‘dream reality’ can seem so real, when in fact it is a reflection of our eternal-ness.
We all pulled that card. We are all here now because we chose to be here with some great purpose we believed in, and with many divinely imbued gifts. Those gifts are our power card. They allow us to walk away from things we cannot change and choose steps that we do have control of through discernment. Not through panic or fear, or anger, or aggression. Our own choices using the discernment of our higher mind changes our outcomes.
(Just like choosing to resolve the dream another way, by going back to where it began).
The edge of panic and fear is always nearby if we want to enter it. But so is our Free Will, our determination to succeed, or change, or to walk away. Those choices are our opportunity under Neptune to look away from the things we cannot impact, to stop trying to solve the unsolvable and choose a higher path. A different one, one that resonates with our TRUTH. We must remember that when we ask from our heart for Higher Guidance the guidance will arrive.
Folks with a strong Neptune, or new strong aspects with Neptune in their chart will all be dealing with this over 15 years! Well, that’s mostly every one. So be kind to others and to yourself.
I always feel such compassion for those with strong Neptune. It’s both a gift and a struggle, but I haven’t understood it fully. I believe I got a pretty good taste of what it has to offer, a taste of the strength of Neptune!
If there is anyone in your world that struggles with drugs, alcohol, depression, anxiety or fears, etc. Just know that what they are dealing with is a karmic challenge of choice, and it’s a tough one.
Return to Grounding and Love; self-love, compassion, and turn to The Divine Source.
I put this question out to The Divine: How does one navigate a powerful energy like Neptune and utilize it’s providence?
I’ll get back to you on that because when Neptune moves into a crucial point in your life there is (as with all aspects) a higher-purpose. Hello humanity...we are on a roll!!!
When I receive the feedback I will share it with you. Meanwhile… it’s a critical time, a time to question our beliefs. Time to question them, to reconsider and to wonder if stepping away from our beliefs for a short while can give us a different perspective, or maybe even bring some new solutions. Choose with love.

This can be a physical world new-creation AND a spiritual playground.
